Humans' incapability to make final decisions

Talking about meeting frustrated clients, dealing with Gov agencies can be harsh at times. They just can't make a fixed, final decision over something and their ideas and thoughts keep on changing. And because of these changes, I had to modify my UI and codes. It's ok if modifications are made once in a while because requirements changes with the time. But for them to request changes, again and again can be well... you should know what I mean.

The only good thing is that this is still in the testing phase. So I could still recall the codes and the business logics. But man, why can't they discussed over themselves, between the operation and the top management before informing us the request and requirements. Haih....

  • It is because it cost them nothing everytime they change the stuff.

  • Exactly. But sometimes it's unavoidable. It's for the sake of improvements that these changes were made. Changes now is much better than changes after the system release isn't it?!

  • It is very normal with gov or seim gov department.

When they said they need to change....document it down, then give them to review and sign.

Again....if it doesn't cost them money to change. They will keep on changing.
