Why???

I can't help but to notice that in the movies, most of the time when a girl/woman hugs a person, usually during some happy moments, they tend to lift up their heels to the back.

Now, I'm wondering why.

  • Because when we're happy and hug someone, it tends to be more leaning forward so we lift one leg to avoid losing balance...

At least, that's why I do it... not sure about others

  • ic... intimate greeting... hahaha :D

but won't leaning fwd puts your weight more to the front? and even when one leg is lifted?

so how would lifing one leg makes your balance better?

but then again, your weight will be supported by the other person anyway... hehehe

  • Hahaha coz it's like this, when you hug someone, your body leans forward... So i lift one leg so my whole body won't topple forward because I lost my balance...

I mean, after all, how far forward can a person lean before falling over...

Or maybe it's just genetic, I dunno... Go watch girls hug more :P
