Quote

Last night I got a message from an ex-colleauge, who sent me the following quote:

"Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do, but how much love we put in that action." From Mother Teresa

A very nice quote indeed.

Of late

Well, my life's been a breeze of late. Easy-going, no worries, no chills, and definately, no trills. There hasn't been much work in the office, my games of squash and badminton is still on-going, and I've been kind of bored reading manuals.

Yeah, since I don't have any development work at the moment, the only thing I could at work, is to read the user manuals. 3 of them actually... financials, manufacturing and automotive. But I only managed to read the financial manuals.

The automotive module implements the KANBAN theories. I've yet to fully understand the concepts and the system flow until I actually play around with the systems. These are kind of complicated systems.

Financials theoretically revolves around the double entries, trial balance, balance sheets and reports. How difficult can those be? But I'm still kind of blur.

Manufacturing and automotive? Both may be similar and partly integrated, as with the financial module, but I believe I have to really understand how a manufacturing firm operates to know how the system works. There's just too many workflows involved.

During the night, I either watched TV or anime. The English football season just began, but unlike their youth team whom just won the CYC recently concluded in Malaysia, Manchester United's season did not start with the 'bang' as many has hoped for.

I've completed Heroes, from episode 1-12 which was from my first disc. But the second disc (ep. 13 - 20) seem to have some problem. Anyone has a watchable copy to lend me? Just started watching Naruto too. Last night, completed episode 17 only.

It's the squash night. So not going to watch anything tonight.

Tagged!!!

Yo! peeps, yup it's been a while. And this has been long overdue. Being tagged once ain't funny, and being tagged twice ain't nice... but I'll do this anyhow

Rules:

1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog

Ok, here are my 8 random facts:

1. When I sleep, I have to be hugging something, either a bolster or another pillow.

2. I always have trouble sleeping for at least the first 3 nights away from home. It's not home sick, I just can't adapt to the bed so well.

3. I look boyish. So whenever I tell others I'm 18, 19 or 21 years of age, they actually believe me.

4. I'm not good at expressing myself. That's why I'm always misunderstood for alot of things.

5. I like creamy ice-creams, the ones where it's been slightly melted. And I like to mix it with something crunchy, like peanuts, crunched biscuits etc.... vanilla ice-cream mixed with milo powder taste great.

6. I can't stand bossy people. And I don't simply take instructions. I also don't always do things by the book... so this, in a way, makes me flexible with things.

7. When it comes to food, I like to experiment mixing various varieties and taste together. It's just like chemistry where I mix and match chemicals to get a result.

8. When I know my facts, I'm as loud as thunder. But when I don't know my facts, I'm as quiet as a mouse.

Considering the no. of people who actually reads this, and those who actually gonna bother doing this, I think I'm not going to tag anyone and let things end here.

It's the wrong number!!!

Lately, it's been a nuisance. How on earth could so many people actually called the wrong number. I've been getting quite a lot of phone calls this week, all asking for a different person. Gosh, I even had someone from China calling.

It's happened in the past, but not a much as this. It's either, my telcom provider screwed-up the network, or these people has hearing problem and recorded my number by mistake -_-"
